Affixes, Suffixes, and Roots

Now that you've learned how affixes, suffixes, and roots work, let's have some fun!

Affixes are parts of words. A Prefix begins a word, Suffixes end a word, and Root words are what's left.

Instructions:

Please post two separate comments to this blog post.

1. Make up your own new word using one of the prefixes you've learned today (Uni-, bi-, tri-), then make a short video of yourself explaining what the word means. You can make your video like the one I made for Activity 1, or you can do something different. Be creative!

2. Upload your video to your YouTube channel and post a link to the video as a comment on this blog post.

3. Pick one of your classmates' videos and write another comment here using their new word in a full sentence.

Then you're done! Thanks for playing!
